     Powder perlite filter (artificial floating beads) have good fluidity, viscosity, and low water loss. Currently widely used in petroleum industry, which can significantly reduce cementing costs. In the cementing exploration technology, it can achieve better plugging effect; improve the service life of the oil well and improve the performance. Perlite floating beads are cheaper than traditional fly ash floating beads, which is good for optimizing construction, reducing costs and increasing efficiency

Perlite is a volcanic eruption of acid lava, cooled by rapid cooling of the glassy rock, because of its pearl fracture structure named. Perlite ores include perlite, obsidian, and gum rosin. The difference between the three is perlite with a circular arc crack formation due to condensation, called the pearlite structure, the water content 2~6%; the pitchstone has unique resinous luster, moisture content of 6~10%; the Obsidian glass has a shiny and conchoidal fracture, the water content is less than 2%.
        Perlite is expanded into a light, multi-functional new material. It has the characteristics of light density, low thermal conductivity, good chemical stability, wide temperature range, little moisture absorption, no poison, no smell, fire resistance, sound absorption and so on. The expanded perlite mainly used for construction, agricultureand industril.
Because of its varied nature, and the diversity of more than 150 main uses, pearlite is categorized as a frequently implemented one.
