Polyacrylamide is a linear water-soluble polymer, and is one of the most widely used varieties of water-soluble polymer compounds. PAM and its derivatives can be used as efficient flocculants, thickeners, paper enhancers and liquid drag reducing agents, and Polyacrylamide are widely used in water treatment, paper making, petroleum, coal, mining, metallurgy, geology, textile, construction and other industrial sectors.
Mainly divided into anionic polyacrylamide (APAM), cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) and nonionic polyacrylamide (NPAM).



Usage of PAM: First, we need to mix PAM with neutral impurity-free water to make a 0.1% concentration aqueous solution. Second, adjust the pH value of the liquid to be treated as needed, and mix the solution with the liquid to be treated. During the mixing process, we can speed up the growth and settling of flocs with proper agitation.

Application of anionic polyacrylamide:

 

1.Coal washing: APAM used for centrifugal separation of coal washing tailings, used in the precipitation and filtration of coal powder and slime, can increase the filtration rate and the recovery rate of coal powder;
